...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN UNION...TIPPAH...
SOUTHEASTERN BENTON...NORTHWESTERN PRENTISS AND SOUTHWESTERN ALCORN
COUNTIES THROUGH 445 AM CDT...

At 413 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Blue Mountain, or 12 miles southwest of Ripley, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Booneville, Ripley, Blue Mountain, Jumpertown, Gravestown, Hickory
Flat, Myrtle, Dumas, Cotton Plant, Murry, Hightown, Spring Hill,
Collinstown, Crumtown, Blackland, Clarysville, Whitten Town, Pine
Grove, Peoples, and Locum.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for northeastern
Mississippi.
