...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL UNION...TIPPAH...
SOUTHEASTERN BENTON...NORTHWESTERN ALCORN...SOUTHEASTERN HARDEMAN AND
SOUTHWESTERN MCNAIRY COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 513 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Blue Mountain, or 7 miles southwest of Ripley, moving north at 65
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
New Albany, Ripley, Blue Mountain, Pocahontas, Keownville,
Gravestown, Walnut, Middleton, Hickory Flat, Falkner, Myrtle,
Chalybeate, Murry, Pumpkin Center, Whitten Town, Hebron, Baker,
Tiplersville, Cotton Plant, and Rogers Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
