ECC002-241530-
West Yreka-
Discussion for Western Klamath
219 PM PDT Sun Jun 23 2024

High pressure with warming and drying will return Monday into
Tuesday. On Monday, there could be some brief, isolated critical
conditions in FWZ 280 in the mountains surrounding the Scott
Valley; driven by low humidities and diurnal breezes. Another dry
front is likely by midweek with strong, gusty winds, and more
pronounced cooling and moistening.

East Yreka-
Discussion for Eastern Klamath
219 PM PDT Sun Jun 23 2024

High pressure with warming and drying will return Monday into
Tuesday. Critical conditions for a short duration on Tuesday, caused
by this drying and diurnal afternoon breezes, are possible in the
Shasta Valley and in the McCloud/Mt. Shasta area. Another dry
front is likely by midweek with strong, gusty winds possible, with
more pronounced cooling and moistening.

ECC003-241530-
Alturas-
Discussion for Modoc
219 PM PDT Sun Jun 23 2024

A combination of low RH and gusty winds will produce Red Flag
conditions for at least a few hours this afternoon in Modoc
County. High pressure with warming and drying will return Monday
into Tuesday. Tuesday looks like the driest day with afternoon RH
values dropping down to around 10%, but with winds staying low
enough that the fire weather conditions are only elevated and not
critical. Another dry front is likely by midweek with strong,
gusty winds possible and should cause critical conditions unless
humidities start trending upward.
