.DISCUSSION...Today and tomorrow will be the peak of this hot and
warm stretch. Humidities will be at their lowest on Saturday,
before trending up through the weekend. Winds will be at their
strongest as a dry front moves through the region Saturday and
Sunday. While winds are expected to follow diurnal patterns today,
the dry front will cause the general wind to dominate the
direction. Expect upslope winds on easterly aspects to dominate
Saturday morning before the general wind overpowers the local wind
and all winds generally turn out of the north. Overnight recoveries
are expected to be above 70% the next three nights at least. Should
the fire burn up to a ridgetop, an east flow will be present with
much lower humidities 10-15% lower than what is forecast below.
