...Fort Pierce NOAA Weather Radio Will Be Off the Air Between 9:00
AM-2:00 PM Today, Thursday, September 19th...

The Daytona Beach NOAA weather radio transmitter KIH-26, operating
on a frequency of 162.400 megahertz will be off the air today,
Thursday, September 19th between the hours of 9:00 AM-2:00 PM EDT
due to maintenance being conducted at the transmitter site.

This transmitter serves Volusia, Lake, Brevard, Orange, Seminole,
Putnam and Flagler counties.

While normal broadcasts are interrupted, the National Weather
Service in Melbourne suggests that NOAA Weather Radio listeners in
these counties tune to their local media outlets for the latest
National Weather Service watches, warnings and statements. Official
National Weather Service information is also available at the
