...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT ST. LUCIE...NORTHEASTERN
OKEECHOBEE...SOUTHEASTERN INDIAN RIVER AND NORTHWESTERN MARTIN
COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 1246 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Tradition, or 14 miles northeast of Treasure
Island, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Port Saint Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, Vero Beach, and Vero Beach
South.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. On rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind
gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and
report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
