  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County.

  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Dakota,
  Washington and Pierce Counties.

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Dakota, Washington and
  Ramsey Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Wright and Hennepin
  Counties.

  Crow River at Rockford affecting Wright and Hennepin Counties.

  North Fork Zumbro River above Wanamingo CR30 affecting Goodhue

.Heavy, widespread rainfall over the last several days has already
caused substantial rises in area rivers. Additional rainfall this
afternoon through Sunday across much of southern Minnesota will
support additional rises in area rivers. The axis of the heaviest
rainfall over the past 72 hours fell across SW Minnesota and N Iowa.
This has resulted in a slight lower trend with upcoming crests.
Moderate to major flooding is still forecast for many mainstem
forecast points.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...North Fork Zumbro River above Wanamingo CR30.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water affects roads including Goodhue CR 1
  between Hwy 60 and CR30, Hwy 60 between Wanamingo and Kenyon, and
  Goodhue CR30 between Wanamingo and Aspelund. In addition, many
  gravel roads may be inundated or washed out in Mineola, Wanamingo,
  and Holden townships.
  At 22.5 feet, The Wanamingo wastewater treatment plant in impacted.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 930 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 21.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 930 AM CDT Saturday was 21.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.9
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

  - Recent Activity...The forecast for Northfield gauge Cannon
    river has fallen slightly from previous forecasts. Please
    continue to monitor levels as any additional rain amounts
    higher than forecast today could result in further changes.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 901.0
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 897.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
