today, with gusts to around 15 mph after 1400 MDT. Mid-level
moisture will increase by mid-afternoon with showers developing in
the area after 1600 MDT, which will continue overnight. Speaking
of tonight, a northeast wind shift is expected around sunset. Atmospheric
instability will increase Monday afternoon, with scattered
thunderstorms developing in the vicinity by mid- afternoon.
Precipitation will become more widespread Tuesday into Wednesday
morning, with a 75% chance for at least 0.40 inches of rain and a
25% chance for 0.80 inches or more.
