386 FNUS56 KMTR 222150 FWFMTR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the San Francisco Bay Area and Central California Coast National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area 250 PM PDT Sun Sep 22 2024 .DISCUSSION...Temperatures continue to warm into warm Monday and the marine layer compresses. Monday and Tuesday look to have the warmest and driest conditions of the forecast with min RH values will fall into the 15-25 percent range for many inland locations. Overnight humidity recoveries look to be limited, but will still offer some relief. Additionally, winds stay relatively light through the warming and drying trend, easing fire concerns. Wednesday offers some cooling and improvement in humidities, but model trends show some slight warming into the end of the work week. Temperatures return closer to normal for the second half of next week with improved RH retention and recoveries. Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
