...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Scattered light rain showers today have brought a few hundredths to
the East Bay, around 1/10th inch in the Santa Cruz mountains, and
around 1/4 inch in parts of the Santa Lucia mountains. Overall, this
rain is only marginally wetting, especially in timber country. More
benefits are being felt with cool temps, high humidity, and lighter
winds. Favorable conditions will persist through the next several
days, and there is a renewed chance for rain and a slight chance
for thunderstorms on Wednesday. A gradual warm-up will end the
week, with temperatures returning to seasonal normals by the
weekend.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Afternoon showers expected in Trinity, eastern Mendocino and Lake
counties. Rainfall amounts are generally expected to be less than
quarter of an inch. Light to moderate rain showers are expected
again Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. The heaviest
will be in the mountains of Del Norte county. Breezy northwesterly
winds are expected with this as well. A warming and drying trend is
forecast for the latter portion of the week.
