...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RUTHERFORD AND
SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM CDT...

At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Thompson`s Station, or 11 miles south of Franklin,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Smyrna, Nolensville, Thompson`s Station, Eagleville, Triune, and
Rockvale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 57 and 61.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 69 and 72.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 30 and 51.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
