...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FAIRFIELD...WESTERN NEW
HAVEN AND EASTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Carmel, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Danbury, Southbury, Lake Carmel, Sherman, Brewster, Newtown,
Trumbull, Ridgefield, Monroe, Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield,
Redding, Carmel, and Patterson.
