...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FAIRFIELD AND
NORTHWESTERN NEW HAVEN COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Monroe, or near Shelton, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Waterbury, Shelton, Naugatuck, Southbury, Wolcott, Newtown, Hamden,
Cheshire, North Haven, Monroe, Seymour, Derby, Prospect, Woodbridge,
and Middlebury.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
southern Connecticut.
