...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Texas, including the following
  counties, Baylor, Foard and Knox.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1235 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain had
    swollen both the North and South Wichita Rivers upstream of
    Lake Kemp. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the
    advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Benjamin, Gilliland, Truscott, Vera and western Lake Kemp.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
