An increasingly active and unsettled weather pattern will evolve through the first half of the week with increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms through Monday night and Tuesday as a cold front slowly approaches. Rainfall totals are forecast to range from one half to 2 inches, with locally higher totals possible, especially along the I-64 corridor. Much cooler conditions and lower humidity can be expected behind the cold front for the rest of the week. Fair to poor dispersion is anticipated through Monday.
