...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CARTER AND
NORTHWESTERN RIPLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 915 AM CDT...

At 830 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fremont to near Alton. Movement was
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Van Buren, Handy, and Fremont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
