...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
  waterways.

* WHERE...Queen Annes, Talbot and Caroline.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most
  vulnerable roads in bayside communities and along tidal
  waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional tidal flooding is possible with
  high tide cycles on Saturday and Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

  dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to
  two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low-
  lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Delaware Beaches.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM EDT
  Saturday. For the High Rip Current Risk, from 6 AM EDT this
  morning through Saturday evening. For the Coastal Flood Watch,
  from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...With moderate flooding, widespread roadway flooding
  occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal
  waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to
  vulnerable structures may begin to occur. Rip currents can sweep
  even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

  shorelines and tidal waterways. For the Coastal Flood Watch,
  one to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in
  low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Cumberland County.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM EDT
  Saturday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Saturday morning
  through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...With moderate flooding, widespread roadway flooding
  occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland
  tidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to
  vulnerable structures may begin to occur.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
