Spot Forecast for WOLF CREEK...OR-MHF
National Weather Service Portland OR
1243 PM PDT Fri Jun 14 2024

Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1400 PDT on June 14.
If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather
Service.

.DISCUSSION...High pressure on Friday will transition into a
showery and wetter pattern through Sunday. A low pressure
system will push a weak cold front over the area through Sunday.
Winds will remain west/southwest and will increase considerably
through Saturday evening - especially along exposed ridgetops.
Looking at gusts around 22 mph, but there is a 10% chance that
gusts could reach as high as 30 mph. The big weather concern will
be that of thunderstorm potential. Based on current outputs, there
is around a 20% chance of thunder between 0600-1400 but the
number of strikes would be minimal. However breezy winds and heavy
rain would be associated with those storms. Daytime humidity will
be elevated with favorable overnight recoveries.

If you have any feedback or observations, please submit them via
