Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
545 PM MDT Fri Jun 14 2024

.Discussion...

Strong to severe storms will remain possible across the far eastern
plains through this evening, with isolated showers and storms
likely elsewhere. There will be isolated thunderstorms over the
eastern mountains and I-25 corridor Saturday afternoon. The next
chance for showers and thunderstorms will be next Wednesday.

Very hot temperatures will return to the region early next week,
which will aid in drying out the fuels across southern Colorado.
Winds will also increase during that time, which will present
critical fire weather days, if the fuels are deemed critical
across the region.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be good to excellent across the
area on Saturday, and excellent on Sunday.
