National Weather Service Pueblo Co
218 PM MDT Wed Jun 19 2024

.Discussion...

Temperatures will rebound across southern CO Thursday and Friday
with increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms in and near
the mountains. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible, especially
along the Continental Divide. Localized flash flooding will be
possible on area burn scars. A dry and warming trend will continue
for the weekend into early next week with daily chances for
thunderstorms over the mountains which will become more high based
gusty wind makers. Temperatures over the plains will top out around
100 across the lower elevations early next week.

Afternoon dispersions will rise into the very good to excellent
category for both Thursday and Friday across most of the district.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
