Tricky wind forecast for the burn site today with Northwesterly drainage winds this morning shifting around to a south to southeasterly component in the afternoon. There is the chance that higher elevation Northwesterly winds will mix down in the late afternoon, however winds do not look overly strong with gust potential limited to around 15 mph. Northerly drainage winds will dominate overnight with winds on Thursday dominated by southeasterly winds as a cool front pushes into the mountains on Thursday resulting in a dominant upslope upvalley component. Temperatures today will be a few degrees warmer than yesterday, with a slight cool down expected for Thursday behind the cold front. The forecast remains dry but will change for Friday into the weekend with an uptick in thunderstorm chances. .REST OF TODAY...
