...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL OTERO AND BENT
COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 443 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Higbee, or 16 miles southeast of North La Junta, moving northeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Higbee, Hasty, John Martin Reservoir, Fort Lyon, and Caddoa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
