SOUTHEASTERN HALIFAX AND NORTHEASTERN WILSON COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM
EDT...

At 208 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Roxobel to 9 miles south of Scotland Neck
to 7 miles west of Tarboro. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Scotland Neck, Enfield, Princeville,
Sharpsburg, Pinetops, Whitakers, Macclesfield, and Hobgood.
