...EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING
THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Kentucky, southeast
Ohio, and portions of central, northeast, northern, southern and
western West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A prolonged and potentially dangerous period of heat begins today.
Heat index values will reach into the low to mid 90s this afternoon
and early evening in some locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Virginia, and
portions of northeast, southeast and southern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A prolonged period of hot weather begins today. Heat index values
will reach into the mid 80s to lower 90s this afternoon and early
evening for all but the highest ridges. Extra care for proper
hydration and watching for signs of heat stress should be exercised
by anyone who is recreating in the mountains this week.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A prolonged period of hot weather continues through the week. Heat
index values will reach into the mid 80s to mid 90s each day for all
but the highest ridges. Extra care for proper hydration and watching
for signs of heat stress should be exercised by anyone who is
recreating in the mountains this week.
