...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Virginia, including the
  following county, Bedford.

* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 941 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain
    which prompted the advisory has ended. However, runoff from
    these earlier rains still may gather in low lying areas and
    prompt flooding.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Big Otter River, Bunker Hill Creek, Goose Creek, Bore Auger
    Creek, Day Creek, Little Otter River, Fiddler Creek and
    Enochs Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding,
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather
