Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 729 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Carvin Creek, Mason Creek, Gum Spring Branch, Back Creek, Roanoke River, Cook Creek and Murray Run. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
