Surface observations indicate that locally dense fog has developed
across portions of the southern Shenandoah Valley, with
visibilities anywhere from one quarter mile to only a few hundred
feet. When driving in fog, motorists are urged to slow down to a
safe speed, allow extra separation distance with surrounding
vehicles, and to use low beam headlights. Fog will burn off
quickly after 9 AM this morning.
