955 AGUS76 KRSA 161311 HMDRSA Hydrometeorological Discussion National Weather Service / California Nevada RFC / Sacramento CA 610 AM PDT Sun Jun 16 2024 ...A FEW SHOWERS FAR NORTHERN AREAS LATER TODAY INTO EARLY MON... .METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SUN AM - SAT AM)... Broad troffing across western Canada extends southward toward the Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies this morning with cyclonic flow continuing over CA and NV...as well. A disturbance moving through this flow is currently located west of the OR coast and will traverse the Pacific Northwest and clip northern CA and northern NV late today into Monday. This will bring the region its only opportunity for precip for the week...mainly from the higher terrain of the upper Klamath River basin and points east across far northern NV. Totals will be 0.10-inch or less. As for temperatures...look for mainly near or below normal temperatures...bottoming out tomorrow before starting to rebound above normal for the end of the week as high pressure begins to build and heights rise over the area.
