...IDP WEATHER.GOV/CMS FLASH THE LIGHTS TEST TODAY...

A flash the lights test is scheduled for IDP weather.gov/CMS
today, Monday May 20, from 1200Z-1800Z. During this test, CMS
rsync content that is dual-fed will be available on weather.gov.
If manual CMS changes are needed during this test, they will need
to be made in both IDP (cms.ncep.noaa.gov) and NIDS
(cms.nids.noaa.gov) in order to not get overwritten after the
test. Also, customers may see known differences in office web
pages during the test. Please see the SCN for more details

CRITICAL WEATHER DAY STATUS...
CWD remains in effect until 12Z Mon May 20 in support of severe
weather ops over Kansas. NCEP will continue to monitor the need
for CWD to support severe weather ops in the Midwest and fire
weather ops in the Southwest early this week.

CRITICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK...
Sunday - Critical...Severe Thunderstorms.
Monday - None.
Tuesday - Caution...Severe Thunderstorms.
Wednesday - None.


MDS STATUS...
GOES-E MDS Sector 1 will be centered over 40.7N/99W from 20/1200Z
to 21/1200Z in support of severe weather ops in the Central
Plains.

GOES-E MDS Sector 2 will be centered over 41N/88.8W from 20/1200Z
to 21/1200Z in support of severe weather ops in the Midwest.

GOES-W MDS Sector 1 will be centered over 36.3N/106.9W from
20/1500Z to 21/0600Z in support of fire weather ops in the
Southwest.
