Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast
National Weather Service Seattle WA
334 AM PDT Sat Jun 22 2024

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure aloft will shift east of the
region on Saturday. An upper level trough moving onshore over
British Columbia on Sunday will lead to some clouds, cooler
temperatures, and stronger winds in the upper elevations of the
National Park. A upper level ridge will rebuild into the area on
Monday and Tuesday for drier and warmer conditions. Another trough
arrives in the middle of the coming week for cooler conditions
and a chance of showers.

&&

.IMPACTS...Strong winds at and above 10,000 feet will make it
difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.
