...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

  Osage River at Taberville affecting Vernon and St. Clair Counties.

For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 815 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, flood waters affect the Schell Osage
  Conservation Area, the Old River Road North of Schell City and
  Lost Creek west of Schell Lake. Flood waters overflow the main
  river channel at the gage site.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Thursday was 24.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    25.0 feet on 06/29/2015.

* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, minor flooding affects low lying areas
  near the gage site and farmland along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 42.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Thursday was 44.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling to 31.5 feet Tuesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    42.4 feet on 02/01/2021.
