...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following
  counties, Benton, Camden and Morgan.

* WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 306 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Turkey Creek at Jackman Avenue, Deer Creek at Highway V,
    Richland Creek at Blue Bird Road, Kolb Branch at Kolb Hollow
    Road, Big Buffalo Creek at Highway WW, Rainy Creek at Knobby
    Road and Gabriel Creek at Highway BB.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cole Camp, Stover, Climax Springs, Zora, Lakeview Heights,
    Crockerville, Edmonson, Hastain, Knobby, Edwards, Mora,
    Barnumton, Florence, Fristoe and Lake of The Ozarks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
