This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Significant excessive heat risk.

  Limited Lightning Risk

DISCUSSION...

A Heat Advisory is in effect for the entire area today as heat
index values will climb into the 100-110 degree range.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Heat index values Tuesday will be in the 100-105 degree range. A
Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 PM Tuesday.

Additional thunderstorm chances (40-70%) Tuesday into Wednesday.

Daily maximum temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s through the
week, with heat index values in the 90s and into the 100s (up to
105 at times).

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
