Inland areas will see drier and temperatures a few degrees cooler by Friday. Relative humidity values will drop off near 8 to 12 percent each afternoon on Friday and Saturday for many mountain areas into the deserts. West winds will also be elevated today into Friday, which will produce near critical fire weather conditions, especially on Friday afternoon. Slightly increased recoveries are expected by early next week, along with warmer conditions as high pressure moves into the area. Sunday and Monday are likely to be the warmest days overall, but minimal heat relief will be expected by the middle of next week into the 4th of July holiday.
