...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CADDO AND
NORTHWESTERN DE SOTO PARISHES AND SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON...EASTERN
PANOLA AND NORTH CENTRAL SHELBY COUNTIES UNTIL 715 AM CDT...

At 634 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Elysian Fields, or 14 miles north of Carthage, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Carthage, Stonewall, Logansport, Joaquin, Deberry, Elysian Fields,
  Keachi, Longstreet, Front, Midyett, Deadwood, Keat Chie, Paxton,
  Kickapoo, Gloster and Reeds Store.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
