At 634 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles west of Elysian Fields, or 14 miles north of Carthage, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
