This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible mainly across the
interior, central, and western sections of Puerto Rico. Plan to
stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of
Puerto Rico. The risk of rip currents will return late Tuesday
into Wednesday; first to the northern and eastern coast of PR and
then spread around the islands Wednesday through Friday. Isolated
to scattered thunderstorms will appear each afternoon mainly in
western and interior locations.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

over/near the U.S. Virgin Islands. Be aware of thunderstorms in
your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Excessive heat is expected fro St. Croix on Wednesday. The risk
of rip currents will return on Wednesday. Isolated to scattered
showers and thunderstorms will be possible.
