Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone particularly in the north coast. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday The heat threat will remain in place this week, resulting in limited to elevated heat threat across all the coastal areas and urban sections. An elevated flood threat will return on Friday. Moderate rip current risk expected to prevail. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is encouraged.
