.DISCUSSION...Another hot day on Thursday will start mostly sunny before
clouds begin to increase late in the afternoon/early evening as
an area of low pressure slides by to the south. Some isolated
convection is possible on Thursday, but surface conditions will
remain very dry so little precipitation is expected to reach the
surface. However, any showers nearby could produce gusty and
erratic winds.

Clouds will decrease in coverage on Friday afternoon with a
slight chance for afternoon convection once again. Current
guidance has a front moving through during the mid afternoon that
would result in a wind shift to the northwest. This front will
struggle to get into southern Utah, so there is a chance (~40%
chance) that it may not make it completely through the area and
winds stay out of the southwest or transition to just westerly.
