.DISCUSSION...A strong, dry cold front will move through the area
this evening. The front is currently expected to pass over the burn
site between 1700-1900 this evening. Out ahead of the front,
gusty south to southwest winds will be in place. An abrupt wind shift
to the west/northwest will accompany the front, along with strong
gusts that will continue into the early overnight hours. Behind the
front, gusts of 45-55 mph are likely, with locally stronger gusts
where wind and terrain favorably align. Winds will quickly diminish
by mid-morning Tuesday and then turn around to the SE by afternoon.
Much colder temperatures will be in place Tuesday behind the
front.
