SOUTHEASTERN COFFEE...GENEVA AND HOUSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM
CDT...

At 809 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Abbeville to 7 miles northeast
of Samson. Movement was southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Daleville, Cottonwood, Headland, Dothan, Geneva, Hartford, Taylor,
Midland City, Kinsey, Ashford, Slocomb, Cowarts, Newton, Webb,
Columbia, Pinckard, Malvern, Rehobeth, Clayhatchee, and Grimes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Alabama...and southwestern Georgia. A Severe
Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for the
Panhandle of Florida.
