Strong high pressure aloft will warm temperatures up to 20 degrees above normal today with afternoon humidity under 25 percent for lower elevations. An approaching cold front will cause breezy southerly winds today, but winds will become strong and shift westerly behind the frontal passage tonight with patchy blowing dust and only moderate humidity recovery. Windy conditions will continue through the day on Thursday with afternoon humidity between 20 and 30 percent and 10 to 15 degrees of cooling.
