A westerly flow aloft today transitioning to more of a high pressure ridge on Tuesday will keep the area warm and dry. Temperatures will mostly be between 5 and 10 degrees above normal with afternoon humidity falling to between 15 and 25 percent at lower elevations. Westerly winds will be breezy today, but they will decrease for Tuesday. Temperatures on Wednesday will be similar to those on Sunday, but a low pressure system will bring an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night through Friday, along with significant cooling.
