...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN POTTAWATOMIE AND
SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1118 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Belvue, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
         objects and vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hoyt, Mayetta, Belvue, Emmett, Delia, and Potawatomi Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
northeastern and east central Kansas.
