...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND NORTHWESTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 902 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Lecompton to Lawrence to Lone Star, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrence, Perry, Lecompton, Clinton, Lone Star, Pleasant Grove, and
Williamstown.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 194 and 205.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
