At 428 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers mostly in Creek, Pawnee and Okfuskee counties in Oklahoma.
It was more widespread in northcentral Oklahoma. The precipitation
was in the Tulsa area. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph.
The average amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of
an inch with maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch.
Intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for late this afternoon and into this evening, cloudy, showers
likely and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 71 to 86
degrees and north winds up to 10 mph.
