At 928 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly south of I44
in eastern Oklahoma and also in Arkansas east of I49. Thunderstorms
with locally heavy rain were located in Muskogee, Mcintosh and Creek
counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and
Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the
southeast at around 30 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch
and a half to two inches. Intensity increased during the last hour.
The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening and into overnight,
showers and thunderstorms likely with damaging winds and large hail
and temperatures 62 to 69 degrees along with southeast winds up to
10 mph.

overnight, cloudy, showers and thunderstorms likely with
temperatures 64 to 73 degrees and north winds up to 5 mph.
