At 528 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers primarily in Creek, Tulsa, Okfuskee and Okmulgee counties in
Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch
with maximum amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch.
Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa
area forecast for late this afternoon and early this evening,
cloudy, showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms with
temperatures 69 to 84 degrees and north winds up to 10 mph.
