At 128 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly south of I44
in eastern Oklahoma and also in Arkansas west of I49. They were most
widespread and heaviest in Pittsburg, Latimer and Haskell counties
in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch
with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late
tonight, cloudy, occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms
with temperatures 62 to 68 degrees and north winds up to 10 mph.
