heavy rain primarily in Creek, Tulsa, Okmulgee and Okfuskee counties
in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and Bentonville,
Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the east at around 25
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was around one
tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of three quarters to around an
inch. Coverage increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late this afternoon, mostly cloudy, a chance of showers
and thunderstorms with temperatures 77 to 88 degrees and northwest
winds 5 to 15 mph.
