showers generally in northwest Arkansas and also east of a Eufaula
to Hugo line. Showers were heaviest in Choctaw and Leflore counties
in Oklahoma and Sebastian county in Arkansas and was more widespread
in southcentral Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Fort Smith
area. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average amount
where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch with
maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch. Coverage and
intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for late tonight and into this morning, cloudy, occasional showers
and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 62 to 66 degrees and
north winds up to 5 mph.
